Thermo-optic (TO) single-polarization IQ bias controller
TFLN-IQ bias voltage controller from Plugtech is specifically designed for TFLN Thermo-optic (TO) single-polarization IQ modulators. Its principle involves injecting dither signals of different frequencies, analyzing the working point errors of the I, Q, and P arms of the modulator, and adjusting the three output bias voltages accordingly to keep the modulator in optimal working condition at all times. Based on an optimized control algorithm, the MBC-IQ controller supports QPSK, QAM-x, SSB, and ODFM applications. Users can easily achieve these applications without parameter settings or manual calibration.
The TFLN-IQ controller has a variety of output specifications to choose from, making it easy for users to deploy the controller to modulators of various voltage specifications. In addition, the TFLN-IQ controller supports UART command control, users can easily debug the system through GUI software, control scripts, etc.
